This series of The Little Prince coins are produced by Monnaie de Paris, France’s oldest continuously operating minting institution, founded in 864. This silver coin has a nominal value of 10€, however they are traded at a much higher price on the bullion coin market due to the state-of-the-art know-how of the Monnaie de Paris craftsmen who are able to expertly and creatively engrave precious metals.

This 2015 The Little Prince 'Draw me a mutton' silver coin bears a modern yet classically inspired design. With an impressive fineness of 920 and a timeless look, the obverse of this coin depicts a scene from the renowned French children’s book The Little Prince, or ‘Le Petit Prince’, as it reads on the coin. The scene shows the Little Prince alongside a sheep and a fox, and the title of the engraving is 'Draw me a mutton'. The reverse, common to the series, features an illustration of the Little Prince, along with novella’s title around the outside in French, English, German and Chinese. This series of coins uncovers the surreal universe of ‘The Little Prince’ filled with friendships, mysteries and disappointments.
